Tutoring Club is of course, a club about tutoring! Now, you may be thinking, "Pft, tutoring club - that sounds like a club for losers and nerds." Well, let us tell you, that's wrong! Tutoring Club is about aiding our fellow students - our fellow community.
Since this is a service club, we do have several different ways that you can earn much needed service hours! One would be what we call 'peer to peer tutoring', which is where you can either tutor another or ask for help from someone in the club who excels in the said subject whether it be math, science, or even maybe music!
The second way of getting service hours would be from after school elementary children tutoring. This would be where you would meet up with a group of members from the club after school and head over to Hirsch (and later on in the year Harvey Green) and tutor the kids at the Homework Club together for an hour.
